can't delete Backdoor.Jeem virus

My computer is infected with the Backdoor.Jeem virus -
file: msrexe.exe. Norton anti-virus detects it but cannot
repair, quarantine or delete it. I tried deleting it
myself and Windows will not let me because it says it's a
protected file. Antone know of a way to get rid of this
one?
