I'm baffled...
WinXP Pro with all the latest update. Browser used, IE 7 and FireFox 2.0.
What I've been able to figure out so far is that it isn't a specific set
if files or locations they are from. 2 particular ones that are giving
me fits are :
http://www.nero.com/nero7/enu/nero7-up.php
http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/downloads/software/US/EN,CRID=1792,contentid=12468
Two links that have the lastest s/w for Nero and my particular mouse...
What I have found, and it works for the Logitech site is that if I
SNOOZE my AV (Computer Associates AV from the EZ-Armour suite) that the
file will come down, but it takes a few cancel/retries to make it work.
Same problem exists in both browsers.
I can't get the Nero down at all?
This started a few weeks ago and I can't trace the error to anything or
something I've installed?
It isn't the site either? I had a problem with a file on PC Mag's site,
but other files came down OK.
Suspect a TCP/IP problem, maybe too long a code path (which is why
snoozing the AV might make it work?) or some other malady?
Suggestions?
