Can't copy files to CD

I have some folders with programs I would like to copy to a CD, but I can’t
get the
computer to write the files to the CD. When I click “Writes These Files†,the
copy wizard pops up a message that says there is no CD in the drive, but
there is
and the computer recognizes it as a CD-RW or CD-R. I have no problems loading
programs from the CD player and I can Burn music as well.

Am I missing something here? At first I thought it was because I was using a
CD-R not a CD-RW, but I tried a CD-RW and it still doesn’t work. I know the
computer recognizes it because when I stick a CD-R in, it shows a CD-R in the
drive and same goes for a CD-RW.

Create a new user account and try with that or your cd rw has a problem.
