can't connect to outgoing server

on tuesday, my outgoing mail just stopped working. i can receive emails, but
then i get an error message saying i can't connect to the outgoing server to
send any emails. can anyone help?

The usual problem for such problems is port number and whether the
server uses security verification or not. You haven't said anything
about your ISP so you need to go to their website and find the
appropriate instructions to set up an outgoing server details.
