I have a small wired network in my office with 3 computers. One is Win2k and
two are WinXP SP1. I am now having trouble connecting my laptop (WinXP SP1)
to the network. The network uses a router to assign IP's. All computers get
unique IP's and can be seen in the routers DHCP table. The two desktops can
share files and printers. The laptop can no longer do this. When I browse
the network the laptop finds the workgroup name but cannot see itself as part
of the workgroup. The other computers cannot see it as part of the workgroup
either. I can ping between all machines. I believe it is not resolving
names properly itself but don't know what to check, or change to correct.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
