cant compose or reply in outlook web access- please help

vista- can't compose or reply to any email. the box pops up and i can type
in the to/from/subject lines but in the text field where the actual message
goes it is grayed out and in the left hand corner is a little box with a red
x in it. this is driving me crazy

a) microsoft.public.exchange.clients is the right place
for OWA issues as it is part of Exchange, not part of Outlook.

b) You'll want to tell your Exchange administrator to install the hotfix in
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/911829 because you are running
Vista, and that should put the text boxes back on the form.
