Can't click through on links in e-mail (repeat)

Bob

Ever since one of those "critical Windows upgrades" we have been unable to
click
through to a web page from links in e-mail. This is a real pain for links
that say "click here" rather than the URL.

A blank, white Explorer session opens along with an error window that says
"Locate Browser Link" with a cursor blinking in the "file name" field.

We are running XP Home edition V5.1 and Outlook
2002 (not Outlook Express) SP-2. No pop-up killers or anything like that.

Any help?

TIA

Bo

When the message pops up to locate link browser, follow its directions.
Browse to the folder where the .exe is for your browser, highlight it and
okay out.

Milly,

Thanks. That seems to have solved the problem. We'll see how it does after
a reboot or two. Any suggestions of where to get help with other mysterious
Windows problems (Task Manager auto launching, clocks not keeping time,
etc?)

Thanks,

Bob
