Hi Im new to site I hope you can help me.

I have just bought a pc from a friend and despite me going to Tools,Internet
Options,Content, Autocomplete I still cant clear previously saved passwords
for internet sites.

Is there another way to do this? I am doing it correctly but its not clearing
them.

If I bought a used computer, from a friend or not, the first thing I would
do with it would be to reinstall the operating system cleanly. You have no
idea how the computer has been maintained, what has been installed
incorrectly, what is missing, what viruses and spyware there may be, etc. I
wouldn't want to live with somebody else's mistakes and problems,
possibility of kiddie porn, etc., and I wouldn't recommend that anyone else
do either.

Ken's got a good suggestion.
I'd make sure that you have the Windows CD and Key code before you start.
Also any Application CD's and their key codes.
What make/brand of PC is it? OEM's like Dell do not always provide the
Windows CD!
