Can't change virtual directory to 2.0

I added a new virtual directory to IIS and want to set it to use ASP.Net
2.0, but the dropdown box on the IIS ASP.Net tab defaults to 1.1 and is
disabled. And the Edit Configuration button is disabled. Why is that since
I have another virtual directory on the same machine that's set to 2.0, so I
know that framework 2.0 is installed on the machine.

Keep in mind, a virtual directory is not an application. Make sure that the
virtual directory is created as an application under the virtual directory
tab on the property dialog.
