Can't change User Information in Win2K3 or 2K??

Noticed this today when entering users into our new Win2K3 servers
(upgrading from NT 4). This is on fresh install of W2K3, and I've
tested it here at home on a 2K box, same result.

I understand changing login names, and SID's and all that...

However, if you change, say Anna to Anne in the First Name, Display
Name field, it changes after applying, but in the user list it remains
the same. What gives?
