Cant Change the location of Storage Folder

Perhaps you are attempting to move it to a location that is
not acceptable to Windows Mail. The storage folder must reside
on a local hard drive.

You can put your files on the left side in windows mail, just like in outlook
to drag them there. On the bar at top of page where it says create mail go
across to last one and it should say folder list when your mouse is over it.
Hit it and your folders pop up beside your inbox mail. Hope this helps

Hi, Jerry.

This windows.vista.mail newsgroup is for peer-to-peer support of Windows
Mail - NOT Windows Live Mail. But this answer is the same for both of those
programs. To see which one you are running, just click Help | About, or
look in the Title Bar, as usual.

Windows Mail is an integral part of Vista and won't run on anything else.
Windows Live Mail will run in WinXP, Vista or Win7 - but it must be
downloaded from download.live.com and installed. You apparently already did
this (or someone did it for you) because the headers of your message says
you are using:
X-Newsreader: Microsoft Windows Live Mail 14.0.8089.726

For user-to-user support of WLM, please go to:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

(Ignore the "desktop" in the newsgroup name; that word was dropped from the
name of Windows Live Mail while it was still in beta.)
