Hello,
I have a cell value that I am unable to modify.
Cell A1 = D38999ï¼ï¼’ï¼ï¼«ï¼¨ï¼•3SA w/font "ï¼ï¼³ Pゴシック" (a font not installed in the
system)
Cell B1 = D38999/26FA35PN w/font "Arial 10pt"

I want to split A1's cell by using the "/" as a delimiter and change the
font. B1 reacts normally to changes, A1 won't react to my changes. Also,
Edit-Replace doesn't work on the "/". Changing the font doesn't work.
Clearing formats won't work. A1 is not locked and the sheet is not
protected. Hmm, tis a mystery!

Thank you for your help,
Terri

Select A1, in the formula bar highlight the weird slash and copy it,
do text to columns and as delimiter select other and paste it into the box,
now you will get a weird view where it looks like the delimiter is in
bewteen the first two 9s but when you click finish it will be alright
You might want to do this on a copy of your sheet

Wow...your idea worked great to split the cell content. Thank you! How can
I change the appearance by changing the font?
