Can't cancel attempted e-mail photos sent

I tried to send an e-mail w/photos where file way too large. It wouldn't
send and just keeps on repeating again and again to send while locking up
incoming e-mails.

How do I cancel completely the e-mail I tried to send? It doesn't work to
simply "Close" ... it just keeps on trying to send the file.

Thanks for any help !
 
Go to File, Work Offline. Then open the Outbox folder an delete that message.
Go back online and try sending a small test message.
