Can't boot up

I recently replaced my old mainboard & processor which had
failed.

When I try to boot up, using the old hard disk which has
XP Pro installed, it asks me to register my copy of
windows. The computer then crashes with the message
NO_MORE_IRP_STACK_LOCATIONS.

I can't use Microsoft support because I can't get at my
PID number unless I can boot up.

Dave Smith.
