Can't add records

J

James Art

I encountered a problem that required me to delete a record that appeared as
all # signs in each field of a record. Since then, I'm not able to add new
records in any of my queries or forms (but I can add records in my tables).

Hi James,

It sounds like you have some corruption present, especially if everything
worked fine at one point. I would try creating a new database, and importing
everything into it. I give detailed instructions for doing this on the bottom
half of page 3 of a Word document that I call Access Links. You are welcome

You may need to experiment some when importing the tables. You might have a
corrupt index in a table, in which case you should delete the index, compact
the database, and then re-create the index.
