Can't add domain user to local Administrators group

I have a client-server network (server: Win Server 2003
with Win2K Pro sp4 workstations) and for some reason, on
just ONE of the workstations, I can't add a domain user to
the local Administrators group. I get an error that the
domain either doesn't exist or cannot be reached. (even
though I just logged in using a domain account and have
confirmed that I have access to network resources) The
account that I'm logged in under while attempting this
operation IS an administrator on that machine. However, I
can successfully add the user using NET LOCALGROUP command
at the command-line, just not through the GUI (Computer
Management snap-in). None of the other machines on the
network are having this problem, just this one, and they
all have fresh installations of the OS along with updates
and service packs. Even though I've found a workaround
for this problem by using NET LOCALGROUP, I'm curious as
to what the problem may be or is this a known issue??
FYI...I've installed all updates from the Windows Update.

Thanks, RR
