Fellow Windows Champions of the world,

Trying to install apple itunes. Installation quits early and is not
successful. Apple support say that the PC configuration is not allowing the
installer to impersonate a client after authetication (control
panels>administrative tools>local policies>User rights
assignments>impersonate a client after authentication

When you open the impersonate a client after authentication local setting,
it is all grey, there is one entry (ASPNET, you can't add a user or group and
there is a mention at the bottom that says "This option is not compatible for
computers running windows 2000 sp1 or earlier. Apply group policy objects
containing this setting only to computers running a leter version of the
operating system.

I am running windows xp. The apple support shows this window with the user
administrator as a user authorized. Apparently, this is problem. My question
for you: How can I ungrey this box and add administrator to it without having
to wipe the box and re-install windows xp?

I can't believe someone else is having the same problem. After loading iTunes
the software garners 100% of my computers CPU and won't finish by allowing my
to accept the users agreement. It locks up completely. I went to the apple
website and downloaded iTunes and now when i start the program the next
screen flashes on the screen and then goes away. I can't access the software
at all.
