I have windows XP on my laptop & one night suddenly lost
my wireless internet connection, Under Network
Connections, it say wireless connection unavailable. I use
a Linksys Model BEFW11S4 Wireless Router & SBC DSL as my
ISP. Any suggestions??

It sounds like a hardware problem. Are you sure your
wirless card is working? You should be able to see a
green icon or something that tells you that the wireless
link is up and working, even if you can't actually log-on
to the internet. More info is needed.

I started having intermittent problems accessing websites and long hangs
in ssh sessions on my wireless desktop. But my wireless laptop still
worked fine. Both were connected to an old WAP11 v2.2 connected to Linux
adsl router (also using SBC)

Turned out that my 3 month old WET11 was going belly up, both its wired
and wireless ends (or cpu). It got to the point where its wired auto
refreshing status page would frequently come up blank, and I could not
wirelessly ping the WET11. So my desktop is temporarily routed through a
10/100 PC card on my wireless laptop while I RMA the WET11.
