Canon S400

I installed the canon s400 using the driver on cd, and
then using the updated driver off of the canon web site.
With either one, the black will not print. I have used
two different ink cartridges as well. The ink is not
blurred, smuding, etc... It's just not printing. All the
other colours are printing fine. Any help would be
great! Thanks
 
First completely uninstall the printer using the instructions at
http://www.coribright.com/windows/Article One.htm

After the reboot, download a new set of the software package from the Canon
website.

Install the software... do NOT connect the printer until the software tells
you to.

If the black will sitll not print, - even after several deep cleaning
cycles, then you should replace the print head.
