Cannot view Outlook Contact files in OWA

Outlook 2000 and Exchange 5.5

While viewing email in Outlook Web Access, users cannot
view or import Outlook Contact file attachments.

My company uses Exchange/Outlook internally and has a
sales force that uses OWA through their own ISP's. The
remote users cannot open Contact files that are sent as
attachments in emails from internal users.

Is there a workaround for this?

This is expected behavior. OWA is not designed to work with either vCard or Outlook contact item attachments. If Outlook Express is installed on the clients, then sending contacts as vCards would work.
