cannot view or print in landscape

What happens instead. Is this a PostScript printer.

Check your printer in your Control Panel, the printer should be portrait..

In Excel you would have File, Page Setup, Page (tab), [x] Landscape
-- this is a per worksheet setting.
 
Try 'Print Preview' and then go to "Setup", this will
then allow you to change to landscape for viewing and
printing purposes
