Cannot use UNC to see the shares

Hi,
After I reboot the computer xp, I could not use \\xxx from start-> run any
more. It prompted "The network locaton cannot be reached. For information
about network....". I was able to ping destination computer. I used
another computer to access destination computer without any problem.
Antivirus show no detection on all computers. Firewall were off. The
computer XP was able to access shares on other computer before reboot. I
will be appreciated if you have any tips or information.

Ironically, I found the cause due Microsoft Windows Defender (Beta 2). It
was install automatically update by rebooting. I reinstall the application
and everything works fine afterward.
