Hi all,
I have a question related to system restore. Before our XP computers join
domain, all user accounts with local admin right can start system restore.
However, after we joined the computer to domin, all user account with local
admin right cannot start system restore and got error message:
System Restore
You do not have sufficient security privileges to restore your system.
Please contact your site administrator, or logout and log in again as an
administrator and try again.
If I remove the computers from domain, than it will work properly again. So
I want to know:
1. Is this normal? If not, what is the possible problem?
2. If yes, does it means that only domain admin users can use system restore
after computer joined domain?
3. Is there any way to get local admin groups user can access system restore
even the computer joined domain?
I have checked for MS KB but cannot find any info. Please help. Thanks!
Best regards
