cannot update version 1.0.614 anti-spyware. Can anyone
help? When trying to download, it comes up as "warning,
could not connect to the internet".

Hi

Something is really buggy with MSAS updater.

Go to www.microsoft.com look for "Popular downloads"
follow Antispyware link and download, do NOT run it from
download location, save it and after download > install

Also ensure that Internet Explorer is working online, on the File menu,
ensure "Work Offline" is not checked.
