Hello,
I'm using Office 2007 and had a major computer crash while working in
PowerPoint. I restarted in normal mode, and everything's working fine now
except for Outlook. I can't open Outlook at all - I get an error message that
says "Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window."
Can anyone please help?
Thanks.

This could mean that the Navigation Pane settings have become corrupt.
Start Outlook with the /resetnavpane switch.

Start-> Run; outlook.exe /resetnavpane

If that doesn't work, does it work in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

Considering you had a crash while Outlook was running, it is recommended to
scan your pst-file(s) for errors as well.

Thank you both so much for your help! Apparently it was that my Navigation
Pane settings had become corrupt, and I did Start-> Run; outlook.exe
/resetnavpane, and it worked perfectly. You saved me some major time and
stress while I was working with a new cient, so I really appreciate your
help. I owe you each 10 PowerPoint tips :-)
