Cannot Shift Object off sheet

Hi,
I have a table in excell and wish to insert a few rows at the top of the
sheet but it wont allow me!
It gives message "Cannot Shift Objects off Sheet"
I have tried deleting all rows and columns beyond my table but is still
returns the same message when i try to insert the rows, how can I overcome
this problem please?

I have since cut and paste the table to give me sufficient rows at the top of
the sheet although I have encountered this problem before and a solution
would be useful.

You must have something there - might be a shape or a bit of text....

Try holding

CTRL+SHIFT+END

This should highlight the range that excel thinks, holds data - this should
give you a decent clue as to the row this extraneous data / shape is in

Thanks xlbo, I tried this and it highlighted just to a couple of rows beneath
my table,
I just clicked accross the botom of my table and eventually came accross a
text box, does anyone know of a way to highlight these from a toolbar ar
something because until i clicked on it it was invisible,
