cannot send Access attachment

I am attempting to send an Access file. It cannot be opened and potentially unsafe attachment" appears. What can i change in order to send it? How do I delete the file extention .mdb from the attachment?

Rather than deleting the extension, you could try
renaming the extension, but what most people do is to put
it in a zip file. If you have Windows XP, simply right
click on the file, choose Send To, then Compressed
(Zipped)Folder. For earlier versions of Windows you
would have to have a file compression program like WinZip.
