Hi!
This is my problem, i reformatted my HD, copied back
my .pst folders, on the left pane i see my "personal
folders" (my inbox, subfolders, etc) but cannot see
the "contacts" folders.
When i click on "Contacts" in the shortcut i do see all
of my contacts but when i start a "new message" i don't
have any contact to pick from.
I am also syncing with my ipaq and have the contacts
there fine.
Any ideas??????

What version of Outlook, it sounds like you need to remove the Outlook
Address Book Service or check that the Contact folder is enabled as an email
address book (by right clicking the Contact folder and selecting Properties
and then Outlook Address Book)

Did that and didn't work. I'm using 2003
In case this helps identify the problem when i click on
address book it comes up empty.

Which bit did you do remove and re-add the service or check that the folder
is enabled as an address book!

I checked that the folder is enable as an address book.
Can you explain to me how to do the removal and re-add of
the service?
Thank you so much for your interest.

This is for Outlook 2002 and 2003 go to Tools > Email accounts > view or
change existing directories or address books > NEXT > highlight Outlook
Address Book and select Remove > restart Outlook and re-add the Outlook
Address Book in the same way > restart Outlook, post back if your version is
earlier than 2002

GREAT HELP!!!!!!!!!
Thank you very much.
I can now click on the "TO" and select a contact from the
list but i can't still see the "contacts" folder
under "personal folders" in the left pane. Any idea for
fixing this?
Again, thank you very much!
I am going to post your message so others can benefit
from it, many people are having problems with their
contacts.
