Cannot see other computers in a workgroup.

We have a workgroup with 6 computers on it, and only one
is using Windows 2000 pro, and the rest have XP pro
installed. The 200 pro unit has no troubles seeing
everything in My Network Places, yet the other ones
cannot. Each PC has a unique name, however, I have
noticed a discrepancy on 2 PC's when I perform the
nbtstat -n command. It seems that the the Computers
NetBIOS name is registered 3 times (Which is ok as all
other units are the same) and the workgroup has 2 entries
displayed (just like all the others) but on the 2 systems
I am refering to, the user name is also registered as a
unique computer name.

Basically I would like someone who is familiar with
workgroup networks to share their thoughts and experience
with me so I can resolve this issue. Please respond to
this posting to the email address provided, or post as
per usual. I would appreciate any help that can be given.

What network protocols are you using on this network?
Netbouy?
IPX?
TCPIP?
And check, besides having a unique computer name, that
you have unique IPs, if you manually configure them like
we do on our network.
(Example SERVER A, named Fred, has IP: 10.0.0.6, and
SERVER B, named Bob, has IP: 10.0.0.6)
