Cannot Save Movie File

Hello, I am running Windows Movie Maker on Win XP SP2(everything is updated).
I am trying to save a movie that I created from imported video. I just want
to save it onto my hard drive. I never get error messages, it just keeps
saving. Once it gets to about 75% or so, the CPU speed drops from 100% to
10% and it just continues to save and the estimated time starts increasing in
perpetuity. I have looked at Papajohn's site, and found mention of this, but
did not find a fix. I have tried various sizes and bitrates. What can I do?
Thanks -Warren

Might be too complex for MM on your PC, try saving your project under two
new separate filenames.

from the first one, delete half the movie and publish it

from the second one, delete the other half and publish it

then import the two halves and publish them as one
