Cannot save changes to Local security database

Dear all,

When I'm trying to save my changes in the local security
(through the security of the administrative task), the
windows does not allow me to do so. Would someone suggest
me how to unlock the database?

What does it do when it does not let you do this ?
(any messages, how does it behave, etc.)

Are you in a domain and see settings greyed out
due to their being set from Active Directory?
 
What kind of changes? Exactly what is the error message? Make sure you are logged on
as an administrator. --- Steve
