Cannot run Windows Update

I have tried going to www.windowsupdate.com, windowsupdate.microsoft.com,
and the Windows Update option on my start menu.

My computer cannot find any of these sites. I have no trouble connecting to
other sites.

My browser cannot connect to that site, either.

I have Norton 2002 with up to date definitions, and have not found any
viruses.
