frustrated with xp

I have 10 windows XP computers. I load programs for the
users with the admin account. If the user is not logged
into the domain, they can run the program. If the user
logs into the domain, which they should, they cannot even
see the program. I have even tried promoting the user to
local admin. It works on the local machine, but when they
try to log into the domain, they cannot access the
program. I've been on this for 2 days. any help would be
appreciated.

thank you

There's a local profile and a domain profile. You need to
copy the icons from the local profile to the domain
profile.

Thanks for the input, but how do you do this? is this
done to the server or local machine.

thanks

On the local machine there will be a "documents and
settings" folder on the C: drive. In this folder there
will be names of the local user accounts and domain
accounts. Something like this...

Jim
Jim.DOMAIN

"Jim" would be the local profile and "Jim.DOMAIN" would be
the domain profile. Desktop icons, start menu icons and
many other things are all in there.
