Cannot Request Certificate

In the MMC, I cannot request a new certificate. I get the
error:

Windows cannot find the certification authority that will
process the request.

When I add the Certification Authority snap-in, I can see
the certificate that I created. I checked the security for
it and the account that I am using has full control.

I am running a stand-alone CA and it is on a W2K SP3 box
in an NT domain.

For resons beyond my control, I cannot use the web portion
of the CA.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The mmc enrollment works only against Enterprise CA and not against
stand-alone CA.
