cannot reply to blue links

whenever I click on a blue link I get a box up that
says"your email address has not been specified.before
sending mail or news messages you must specify a return
address in mail and news preferences" NOBODY has been
able to help me with this problem. This box where I can
write to you is impossible to find. I had to call India
to get help just to find a way to write you a message.
Your instructions just go round and round without
providing this box easily to anyone who has a unique
problem that needs help. Please tell me how I can put my
return address in mail and news preferences. thank you
very much. Incidentally, the way this box is on my screen
I cannot see the last few leters on the line of the

Go to Control Panel, Internet Options, make sure your
repective email client is set as default. Now, since
you've not stated what client you're using it's difficult
to help you. Either way, your profile needs to be setup
properly to resolve this issue...
