I have Outlook 2002 and want to send/receive email with Yahoo Mail Plus. I
have NIS 2005 w/ AntiSpyware installed on my computer. I get the following
error message:
Task 'Yahoo Mail Plus - Sending and Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC0F) :
'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues,
contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'
I have talked to Yahoo & Symantec and they point me to MS. I have tried
deleting the *.srs file in my Outlook profile, no success. I have read the
alot of articles w/no success. Please help.......

Change your NIS settings for email antivirus scanning. Turn it off for both
sending and receiving and see if you get any errors. Then just reselect NAV
for receiving email only and see if it works. Antispam is also a prime cause
of problems with email. Uninstall it or disable it & don't let it run. I had
lots of trouble with antispam--both Norton and McAfee--and had to uninstall
both of them on 2 diff computers.

This was helpful. Symantec tech support claimed it was not there product and
to check MS. I uninstalled NIS 2005 w AntiSpyware and reinstalled. When I
did the LiveUpdate I did not download any of the Ad Blocking or AntiSpam
updates. I then turned off the AntiSpyware and unchecked the both email
scanning options. As I did this I was checking my ability to send/receive
through Outlook and Yahoo. So far I am glad to say that I have had success.
Thank you for your direction.
