Cannot read memory

I occasionly get this message when I'm shuting down the
computer. Is there something I can do to rid this message.

Cannot read 0x771c1c94 memory referenced0x00000008.

That suggests something that you have loaded to run in the background is
getting into a twist when being asked to shut down. If it is only an
occasional matter, finding just which item is doing it may be difficult.
But if you use Norton Live Update, I would start by disabling that
