cannot open xlt file

did a recent update on office and i can nolonger open the
xlt files i was able to open. any help? Thank YOU
 
I don't have a guess, but you might want to explain what happens when you try to
open an .xlt file.

(and how you're opening it--double clicking in windows explorer or file|new or
even file|open (to edit it).)
