"cannot open this file" when trying to import from a database

I am using AccessXP. I am using linked tables. Some clients are across a
network, others are just on a local machine.

I have an Access application that looks in a specific folder for another
Access database.

If the database is there and meets certain criteria, my main application
imports certain object. This basically is my simple patching program.

The only issue I have now is that on occasion I get the following:

Access cannot open this file (error 31541)

Doing some searching, it appears to be associated with an error that I have
found http://support.microsoft.com/kb/303650

Does anyone happen to have any more insight into this issue?
