Cannot open Task Manager

Hi. Its my first post here.
2 days ago somehow i cannot open my task manager. i tryed carl-alt-delete
but nothing opens.
i tryed pressing on the taskbar and click on task manager but nothing what
happend and how can i fix it please

Double click on the speaker icon in the task tray. Click on options, then
properties. Make sure there's a check mark by "Mic".
