cannot open pages

I am using IE6, but also Avant, so I think my problems are
in a common settings. but I cannot open some webpages. the
only ones I've noticed are hpshopping.com and the links I
get in emails from JC Penney.

We can see them from other computers on my net but not
this XP. Is there some kind of adminstration settings or
others that would block out certain web pages?

I've tried it with / without my zonealarm, pop-up
prevention, browser hi-jack, and other accessories that I
know about.

Any Thoughts?

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.

Look for you error message on this page.
