cannot open page

hi,
am using dell pc, win xp, sp2, home ed, i.e., sbc dsl. when i save
page to my hard drive as html, i.e. opens it full and clear but then
instantly puts the page 'the page cannot be displayed' up on the screen
and the saved page cannot be seen again. have tried stopping pop-up
blocker and fire wall and all the suggestions i've seen even over a
microsoft with no change.

want to add that my new sbc browser shows the same 'cannot display' error
message when trying to open those save html pages from this site.
