Yesterday I posted the below mention note, in the meantime
I have followed Kath's advise and article 281679.
I can now open link from OE but still nothing appears when
I open a link in a new window in IE.
I have done nearly everything that I can do following
281679 - but I can't find the registry values mentioned is
HKLM\SOFTWARE\......
I have reinstalled IE6 but then I back to square one.
I do not have a file called IE6WZD.exe, but I have a file
called IE6WZD.LGC that refer to the following
file : "C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\IXP000.TMP\IE6WZD.EXE", but I do
not have this directory.
What can I do?
Kind regards
Erik

"Hi
I'm running Win98 and IE6 (6.0.2800.1106) and I can't get
IE to open a link in a new window. A new window does open
up but the link doesn't I can force it to open by pressing
esc and then reload.
The same problem appears from OE when I have been mailed a
link, The window opens up but not the link before I press
esc and then F5.
If I remove IE 6 and go back to IE 5 then I have no
problems in opening up links in new windows, but then I
can't attach files to my e-mails.
Can you help me please.
Kind regards
Erik Haar"
