Cannot open files or press BACK button, please help

Hi all, im in desperate need of some help.

this problem happens whenever I update my IE. It has
happened on various other occasions, and I always
reformat to fix it.

Anyhow. Whenever I click on a file, it does not
automatically launch (example, a zip file on the
internet, it says "ERROR, cannot open file)

So then I have to right click and save and then launch.

As well, on some web pages, when I press back it
says "This page has expired, press refresh" it then asks
that again and it DOESNT refresh, it loads up the page as
if nothing had been saved or done there.

I have tried everything. If anybody can help, please
email me at (e-mail address removed) with an answer. I
dont browse these boards much so i may miss the fix!

Once again, it happens after I do an Internet Explorer
update, and it really inhibits my use!!!!

Probably a corrupt cache. Create a new one as per the instructions at the
