Cannot move or delete folders in outlook 2007 - "The Folder Is Ful

Whenever I try and move or delete a folder in outlook which contains
sub-folders I get the folder is full message.

I can copy the folder and all of its structure, but still cannot delete the
original without going through each subfolder and clicking the delete button.

Any help appreciated
