Cannot mark some folders (e.g. My Pictures) as Private

I am running NTFS, and can mark some folders as private.
However, others such as the My Pictures folder cannot be
so marked. My Pictures is within My Documents, the latter
which can be marked private. Is there something special
about My Pictures that affects this functionality? I am
in a user account w/ Admin settings. Note I have had My
Pictures shared on the network (unsharing it seemed to
have no affect).

I am also not able to get the folder encryption checkbox
to be enabled. (Are Private folder and Encrypted folder
compatible, btw?)

If you have XP Home, "Folder Encryption (EFS)" is not supported.
Private folders can only be used with some directories.
If you wish "My Pictures Folder" to be private, you must set permissions
manually.

[If you have HOME, boot into safemode]
If you are not an experienced user this is not advised, so be careful. If
used inappropriately you could lock yourself out of the folder. I would
recommend making a "restore point" to ensure you can easily undo permissions
if something does go wrong.
Hope this helps
