cannot logon interactively

S

seth

i have one user that suddenly can't logon to the domain
on his computer, when trying to login, it says "your interactive logon
privilege has been disabled. contact your administrator"
happens on more than one system
user is local administrator; already checked local security policy, user has
the right to logon locally
same thing occurs when connecting with rdp
i'm probably missing something stupid here
running xp sp2 on 2003 domain
any ideas?

You receive the 'The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon interactively'?

these articles apply to terminal server

these 4 articles involve terminal server which doesn't apply here
the user is not trying to logon to a terminal server

My point was this, you are SOL.

Those are the only MSKB articles that refer to that error message.

I assume you've checked that the users account is not locked out from failed
login attempts?
