Cannot Log off

I have a Win2k server with the latest service packs. This server also has our activie directory, DHCP, and DNS on it. About once a week it will not let me logoff. I see nothing in the Event Viewer telling of a problem nor do I notice anything out of the ordinary in Task Manager. What is keeping me from logging off on this system? Nothing is open. I cannot seem to find an article to help with this.

Absolutely nothing happens. It acts as if I never tried logging off.

Search doesn't find a shutdown2.exe.
