Cannot locate recurrence information for this appointment

I have a user that is getting the following error when
going into his Calendar in Outlook 2003:

"There was a problem reading one or more of your
reminders. Some reminders may not appear. Cannot locate
recurrence information for this appointment."

After this error message, no reminders appear for any of
his appointments.

I haven't seen this error before and don't know what's
causing it so I don't know how to proceed. Any assistance
would be greatly appreciated.

Try starting this user's Outlook one time with the cleanreminders switch:

start->run->outlook.exe /cleanreminders
