Cannot Link to http:// from https://

Hello,
When I am on an https:// page and click a link to an http:// page, nothing
happens. If I cut and paste the http:// link up to the URL address box and
click on Go, it works fine.
Please, if anyone can offer a clue as to why this may be occurring, I would
be much obliged.

I received this suggestion to a slightly different problem. You might want
to try it:

Just a guess: the "http://" prefix might have been damaged. Does this help
you: http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/answers_8.htm#extension ?
